Beam Residence Hall
 

Built in 1966, Lena Sue Beam Residence Hall was named in honor of Mrs. C. Grier Beam, of Cherryville - the wife of C. Grier Beam.

Beam Hall is a co-ed building where the majority of first-year students are housed.  Students live in suite-style rooms adjoined by a bathroom.  Each room has a microwave refrigerator unit.  

Beam Residence Hall houses:

  • Men and Women's Freshman housing
  • Residence Hall Director and Residence Peer Assistants
  • State-of-the-Art Laundry facilities
  • Social Areas on each floor
  • The residence hall programs are dedicated to creating a community living environment which emphasizes the goals and philosophy of the college and provides secure, safe and comfortable living quarters.
