Between classes, many of our students spend time outdoors camping, kayaking, hiking and rock climbing right next door in the 157,000-acre Pisgah National Forest. But if you’re not the backpacking type, the area’s charm extends beyond its natural playground.
Just across the street from campus is a popular spot where students often grab a coffee and figure out what to do for the weekend. And it’s just a short stroll to downtown Brevard where students go dancing with friends, see movies, or join in on jam sessions at open-mic nights.
When you’re ready for a change of pace, Asheville’s art and music scene is just a short drive away. And you’re not far from two of the South’s hottest cities for fun and culture, Charlotte and Atlanta.
