As part of Student Orientation, new students join together with faculty and staff volunteers to help with community service projects at approximately 16 sites across the city of Brevard and Transylvania County. This ½ day service event embraces our BC motto of Cognosce ut Prosis - "Learn in Order to Serve". The good will and hard work of Move-A-Mountain Day contributes to the goal of building an ethic of service and lifelong learning for our BC community. This important tradition gives new students an opportunity to build relationships with fellow students, faculty, staff and community members.
