Summer Pre-Registration is an opportunity to become better acquainted with other new students, current Brevard College students, as well as faculty and staff. An academic consultation with a faculty member will take place to discuss and select your class schedule. There are also specific programs planned for you and your family members. These sessions include information on expectations of the institution, preparation for moving in, safety/security issues, and campus life.
Remember: Students must first be accepted and have paid their Enrollment Deposit before attending Summer Pre-Registration.
To reserve your place in one of our three sessions, simply return the reservation form that will be mailed to all new Brevard College freshmen who have paid their enrollment fee.

New Transfer Students
Students who have enrolled at other colleges since graduating from high school are considered "transfer students" and are not required to attend a summer pre-registration session. Instead, are individual on-campus or phone advisement/registration option will be scheduled for you.

Enrollment Deposit Options:
Our incoming class size is limited so students are encouraged to pay their enrollment fee as soon as they have decided to attend Brevard. Two options outlined below are available for your convenience. However, it is not advisable to pay the fee early simply to “hold” your spot here while you determine which college you will actually attend. Students still deciding where they will attend are simply asked to advise their admission counselor about this and request additional time.
Option #1 – Regular Enrollment
BC recognizes the “National Candidates Reply Deadline” of May 1st as our Regular Enrollment notification deadline. Students are required to submit the enrollment fee at least by May 1st in order to guarantee that their spot in the incoming class and the financial aid awarded them are secured. (Transfer students must participate in this option.)
Pay standard $250 enrollment fee by May 1st (refundable until May 1st)
Residence hall and roommate assignments made in July
Attendance at Summer Pre-Registration session #2 or #3 in July
Option #2 – Priority Enrollment (NEW!)
In addition to recognizing the National Candidates Reply Deadline of May 1st as our enrollment notification deadline, students who are confident in their decision before May 1st are invited to participate in, and take advantage of, the perks of our Priority Enrollment option. Students who choose the Priority Enrollment option must pay their enrollment fee by March 30th and are afforded the following perks:
Pay only $125 by March 30th. (non refundable)
Guaranteed residence hall and roommate assignment by April 30th (vs. regular assignment in July) thereby allowing earlier communication with your new roommate. Students requesting each other as roommates must both have met the priority date of March 30th.
Guaranteed spot in Summer Pre-Registration session #1 in June (vs. session 2 and 3 in July) thereby allowing for registration at the earliest possible time.
After the enrollment fee is paid through either the Regular or Priority enrollment option, we will mail you a BC “Action Pack” in the spring which includes forms for summer pre-registration, housing, immunization, and tuition payment plans to complete the enrollment process.
*Students paying their enrollment fee after March 30th may participate in the Regular Admission option only.
*Transfer students may participate in the Regular Enrollment option only.
*ALL students who submit their enrollment fee after May 1st will only have their spot in the incoming class secured, and financial aid awarded, as space and scholarship/aid availability allow.
