Brevard's application process for international students

Brevard College offers a range of distinctive baccalaureate degree programs on a beautiful residential campus in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Brevard College's curriculum combines small-classroom instruction with creative internships and immersion experiences, provides a strong core in the liberal arts and offers great strength in fine arts, as well as in interdisciplinary programs that educate for leadership and service and draw on the natural resources of our mountain setting.

Brevard College seeks to add diversity to our student body through the acceptance of eligible international candidates.  When the applicant’s file is complete, the Admissions Committee reviews the file and notifies the candidate of the decision.  Decisions are made on a rolling basis.  All students who are neither citizens nor legal residents of the United States must submit the following information:

1. A completed application, including essay and application fee of U.S. $30.  Online applications are available.

2. If English is not a native language of the prospective student, test scores from the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) must be submitted.  A minimum of 550 paper-based, 230 computer-based, or 87 internet-based, is required.  The BREVARD COLLEGE CODE is 5067.

3. Completed “International Student Financial Aid Form”. 

4. Official transcripts showing in detail all secondary and post-secondary study.  Proof of completion of secondary study must be provided by certificate or diploma.  Certified English translations must accompany all documents not presented in English.  Photostats must be notarized as true copies of the original documents 

5. Transfer/Visa Certification Form for students currently attending a college or university in the United States.

About International Student Health Insurance
