Outside of Class

At Brevard we believe the opportunity for learning exists in every aspect of our students’ lives. That’s why we work to provide a supportive environment for learning both in and out of class. So, what do our students do when they’re not hitting the books? Good question.

Internships & Study Abroad Programs – Brevard students get fantastic life and career experience through local and national internships and study abroad programs.

Clubs – We have over 30 student clubs and organizations devoted to everything from music to math to service. And over half of Brevard’s students participate in intramural sports.

Dining – While feeding the brain, it’s important not to forget the body. Our Residential Restaurant and Java City offer dining options from traditional home-style favorites to burgers right off the grill. You can choose the meal plan that best suits your child’s eating habits and schedule.

Athletics – Whether your child is an athlete or a fan, they’ll be happy to know Brevard College has some of the best varsity sports teams in the region.

Services – Our Office of Student Services makes a variety of services available to your child from free tutoring to healthcare to career advice to counseling.

Spiritual Life & Services – Students along with staff and faculty, play an important role in the planning and running of religious activities on campus. Programs range from Bible studies to theological discussions to hands-on mission projects. All faiths are welcomed.

Responsibility & Accountability – These are two of the most important character traits your child will develop during his or her four years at Brevard.

Whether it's helping others or having fun, Brevard students manage to keep themselves busy.
