Brevard College welcomes Veterans interested in learning more about the College, our academic programs, scholarships and financial aid, and the enrollment process.
The College’s motto, “Learn in Order to Serve,” means various things to our diverse population, but one thing is certain – service of any kind is a fundamental cornerstone of Brevard College. You’ve done your part, now we’d like to do ours.
Various kinds of financial aid from the College, the state and the Federal Government are available to Veterans and non-veterans alike, which makes a Brevard education much more accessible than you might think. If you qualify for VA benefits, your out of pocket costs to attend Brevard may likely be comparable to that of a public college or university. As a participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program, Brevard College commits up to $5,000 per year in funds to eligible veterans. Our funds, plus the VA's Yellow Ribbon match, plus your standard VA benefit equivalent to costs at North Carolina public institutions of higher learning can end up covering most, if not all, of your Brevard College tuition and fees.
Our VA certifying official on campus is located in the Registrar's Office and may be reached regarding questions concerning benefits by phone at 1 (800) 527-9090.
