How to get to Brevard College

By Car...

Visitor parking is near the Weaver College Bell Tower.
The Office of Admissions is on the right in Beam Administration Building.

From Asheville (NC) area:

(Approximately time for travel:  30 - 45 mins)
Take I-26 to Exit 40 toward the Asheville Regional Airport.
Turn toward the Airport and continue to Brevard (19.2 miles).
Hwy. 280 will intersect at a stoplight with US 64 West and US 276. Continue straight into the City of Brevard (around four miles) to Brevard College.  The College will be on your left on North Broad Street.  Turn onto the campus at the Brevard College sign on the iron and brick gate.

From the Charlotte (NC) area:

(Approximately time for travel:  2.5 - 3 hrs)
Take I-85 South to Exit 10-B, US 74 (Shelby / Kings Mountain).
Take US 74 West to I-26. 
Take I-26 West to Exit 40. 
Turn left onto Hwy. 280 toward the Asheville Regional Airport and continue to Brevard (19.2 miles).
Hwy. 280 will intersect at a stoplight with US 64 West and US 276. Continue straight into the City of Brevard (around four miles) to Brevard College.  The College will be on your left on North Broad Street.  Turn onto the campus at the Brevard College sign on the iron and brick gate.

From the Raleigh/Research Triangle (NC) area:

(Approximately time for travel:  4.5 - 5 hrs)
Take I-40 West to the intersection of I-40 and I-26 at Exit 46 after Asheville.
Take I-26 East to Exit 40.
Turn right onto Hwy. 280 toward the Asheville Regional Airport and continue to Brevard (19.2 miles).
Hwy. 280 will intersect at a stoplight with US 64 West and US 276. Continue straight into the City of Brevard (around four miles) to Brevard College.  The College will be on your left on North Broad Street.  Turn onto the campus at the Brevard College sign on the iron and brick gate.

From the Atlanta (GA) area:

(Approximately time for travel:  3 - 3.5 hrs)
Take I-85 North to Spartanburg.
In Spartanburg, take I-26 West toward Asheville.
Follow I-26 to Exit 40, Hwy. 280.
Turn left onto Hwy. 280 toward the Asheville Regional Airport and continue to Brevard (19.2 miles).
Hwy. 280 will intersect at a stoplight with US 64 West and US 276. Continue straight into the City of Brevard (around four miles) to Brevard College.  The College will be on your left on North Broad Street.  Turn onto the campus at the Brevard College sign on the iron and brick gate.

From the Knoxville (TN) area:

(Approximately time for travel:  2.5 - 3 hrs)
Take I-40 East to Asheville and take Exit 46 before Asheville.
Exit 46 will take you into I-26 East toward Spartanburg.
Follow I-26 to exit 40, Hwy. 280.
Turn right onto Hwy. 280 toward the Asheville Regional Airport and continue to Brevard (19.2 miles).
Hwy. 280 will intersect at a stoplight with US 64 West and US 276. Continue straight into the City of Brevard (around four miles) to Brevard College.  The College will be on your left on North Broad Street.  Turn onto the campus at the Brevard College sign on the iron and brick gate. 

From the Greensboro (NC) area:

(Approximately time for travel:  3.5 - 4 hrs)
Take I-40 West to Asheville.
At the intersection of I-40 and I-26, take I-26 East at exit 46.
Take exit 40 off of I-26.
Turn right on Hwy. 280 toward The Asheville Regional Airport and continue to Brevard (19.2 miles).

From the Columbia (SC) area:

(Approximately time for travel:  2 hrs)
Take I-26 West to Exit 40. 
Turn left onto Hwy. 280 toward the Asheville Regional Airport and continue to Brevard (19.2 miles).
Hwy. 280 will intersect at a stoplight with US 64 West and US 276. Continue straight into the City of Brevard (around four miles) to Brevard College.  The College will be on your left on North Broad Street.  Turn onto the campus at the Brevard College sign on the iron and brick gate.

Take a right out of the airport onto Hwy. 280, this will intersect at a stoplight with US 64 West and US 276. Continue straight into the City of Brevard (around four miles) to Brevard College.  The College will be on your left on North Broad Street.  Turn onto the campus at the Brevard College sign on the iron and brick gate.

Atlanta International Airport

(Approximately time for travel: 3 - 3.5 hrs)
Take I-85 North to Spartanburg.
In Spartanburg, take I-26 West toward Asheville.
Follow I-26 to Exit 40, Hwy. 280.
Turn left onto Hwy. 280 toward the Asheville Regional Airport and continue to Brevard (19.2 miles).

Head to 85S off -Billy Graham Parkway
Take I-85 South to Exit 10-B, US 74 (Shelby / Kings Mountain).

Take I-26 West to Exit 40.
