Congratulations to Jordan Horne Salman ’07 and Sam Salman ’07 owners of The Hub and Pisgah Tavern in Pisgah Forest. The cycling shop was mentioned as one of America’s best bike shops in the October edition of Bicycling magazine.
Former BC volleyball player Brooke Seaman ’10 has signed a professional contract with professional volleyball in Switzerland. Seaman will play for VBC Biel-Bienne, a member of the First Division Swiss National A-League located in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland.
A photograph by professional nature photographer and field biologist Jill Wussow-Lowman ’05 is the cover photo of the November issue of Western Birds, a scientific journal for field ornithologists.
The paddling adventures of Kelsey Bracewell ’09 were featured in the July/August edition of American Whitewater magazine.
