What is the Senior Gift?
The Senior Gift is a means by which Brevard College tries to instill the concept of regular, repetitious giving in the senior class in the hopes that after graduation, the the newest alumni will continue to give back to BC in the future. Each year, the Senior Class Gift goes directly to the Loyalty Fund.
Why is the Loyalty Fund important?
The Loyalty Fund is the backbone of private support for Brevard College. It subsidizes the general operating costs of BC each year & provides partial scholarships to over 90% of you ~ our students! For years, BC students and the College have benefited from the financial support & participation of parents, friends, and alumni who graduated before you. Now as seniors, you have the unique opportunity to begin giving back to Brevard College while you are still enjoying the benefits of the Loyalty Fund first hand. By contributing to the Loyalty Fund through the Senior Gift Campaign, you continue this cycle of support.
What is the Class of 2012's goal for the Senior Gift?
This year the goal for the Senior Class Gift is 85% participation- a prestigious goal, but one that we know you can meet! We encourage you to actively participate in this year's Senior Class Gift by making a gift of any amount to the Loyalty Fund.
For those seniors who give a gift of $50 + you will be eligible to inscribe a brick to place in the Betty Neale Academic Quad.
It is important to note that participation is the most important factor, not the dollar amount given. So have pride in BC and give back to our fine institution.
How do I give to BC?
- Go to www.brevard.edu/give & make a gift online on our secure server.
- Drop a check made out to Brevard College at the Alumni House on campus
- Send a check to Brevard College, attn. Julie McCay, via campus mail
