TICKET ORDERING INFORMATION

Select Package A

Select all 12 shows on the Artist Series and receive a 15% discount.

Select Package B

Select any 7 - 11 concerts and receive a 10% discount.

Brevard College students with a valid ID receive $5 tickets to all shows, pending availability.  These can be picked up at the Box Office 15 minutes prior to showtime.  BC students who wish to guarantee seating preference can buy $10 advanced tickets.

The Porter Center's Scott Concert Hall seats 700 - 500 on the main floor and 200 in the balcony.  Acoustics and sightlines are incomparable, so there isn't a bad seat in the house.  The single ticket price to all shows reflects this.

Tickets can be purchased with cash, check or credit card (MasterCard or Visa only) at the Porter Center Box Office during business hours- 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday and one hour prior to concerts. Tickets can also be purchased over the phone (credit card only) at (828) 884-8330.

The Porter Center is fully handicap-accessible and happy to accommodate patrons with special needs.

Mr. Harris has performed at many of the world's most distinguished concert halls, including Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall. The Kennedy Center, San Francisco's Herbst Theater, UCLA's Royce Hall, Chicago's Symphony Center, Detroit's Orchestra Hall, and The Sydney Opera House.

 
Paul Jacobs
The young organist achieved great notoriety early in his career for his marathon, single-sitting performances of the complete organ works of Bach and Messiaen. The Bach marathon clocked in at 18 hours (and those are hard hours), while Messiaen came in at a relatively tame 9 hours. No such duration is planned for Jacobs’ Porter Center performance.
