Greensboro, N.C. – The Brevard College men’s cross country team competed in the Greensboro Invitational on Sunday, September 30, finishing in eighth-place in the Division II ranks.

 

Brevard College was led by Harrison Vicini, as the senior finished the 8k run with a time of 30:48.8.    Fellow classmate Justin Holstein was not far behind, as he crossed the finish line with a time of 31:18.0.

 

Freshman Tiffen Tapia and junior Brandon Hopkins finished back-to-back, as Tapia turned in a time of 32:26.3, just ahead of Hopkins time of 32:50.3.

 

Sophomore Zach Hazen turned in a time of 33:08.0, while freshman newcomer Gary Stephenson finished with a time of 34:57.7.

 

The men’s cross country team will return to competition on Friday, October 12, when they will participate in the Appalachian State Invitational meet.
