BC Men’s Golf Competes at Kiawah Island Invitational
 
Kiawah Island, S.C. – The Brevard College men’s golf team opened up their 2007 fall season this week as they participated in the Kiawah Island Invitational tournament on Monday and Tuesday.
 
The Tornados turned in team scores of 311 and 336 to finish the tournament with a 647, +71.
 
Sophomore Grant Carnie led BC with a two-round score of 156, +12, good enough to finish in a tie at 49th-place.
 
Junior Myles Johnston turned in a low round of 74, +2, for the Tornados for the tournament as he carded a 158, +14 for the two-day event. 
 
Sophomore Tommie Bush and junior Galloway rounded out the scoring for the Tornados, as Bush carded a 169, +25, while Galloway finished the tournament with a 171.
 
Oklahoma Christian won the tournament, as they turned in rounds of 283 and 293 to finish with a 576, even par.
 
The men’s golf team will return to action next week, September 17 and 18, when they will compete in the Montreat Fall Invitational at Crooked Creek Golf Course in nearby Hendersonville, N.C.
