North Greenville Edges the Tornados, 1-0 in Overtime
 
Tigerville, S.C. – The Brevard College men’s soccer team was in action on Thursday night, as they fell in a close match 1-0 in overtime to the Crusaders of North Greenville.
 
The loss drops Brevard to 3-11-1 for the year, while North Greenville improves to 4-6 with the win.
 
The game was a very physical match as the two teams combined for a total of 25 fouls for the contest.
 
The Tornados were able to get off six solid shots, yet were unable to push across the go ahead goal forcing the game to go into overtime with the score 0-0.
 
In the overtime frame, North Greenville’s Seth Snyder scored from 20 yards out off an assist from Max Duarte in the 94th minute to give the Crusaders the 1-0 win.
 
The Tornados will return to action this Saturday, October 13, when they will host Warren Wilson College at 3 p.m. on the campus of Brevard College.
