Men’s Soccer Blanks Toccoa Falls College, 5-0
 
Toccoa Falls, G.A. – The Brevard College men’s soccer team picked up their third win of the season on Tuesday evening, as they dominated from the opening kick-off to defeat Toccoa Falls College, 5-0.
 
With the win BC improves to 3-8-1 on the season, while the loss drops Toccoa Falls to 7-7.
 
The Tornados got their five goals by way of four different players. Senior Owen Carson scored two goals for BC, his first two goals of the 2007 season.
 
Freshman Kenneth Bryan III picked up a goal for the game, while fellow classmate Niclas Stolt put a shot into the back of the net as well, giving him his first goal of the season. Stolt also recorded two assists on the evening.
 
Sophomore co-captain Ian Townson scored the fifth goal of the game for the Tornados, as BC played well throughout the game.
 
Townson would also have an assist on the day, while senior Trevor Redpath, who normally is in goal for the Tornados, picked up his first assist on the year in just his first game of seeing action up front for the BC offense.
 
The Tornados will look to continue their great play this Saturday, October 6, when they will jump back into SAC play when they face off with the Bulldogs of Wingate University. The match is slated to begin at 5 p.m. at Wingate, N.C.
