BC’s Justin Craig Named as an ITA Scholar Athlete
Brevard, N.C. – Brevard College men’s tennis player Justin Craig was awarded for his efforts in the classroom as he was named as an ITA Scholar Athlete announced earlier this summer by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
Justin excelled in the classroom and was able to meet the requirements set forth by the ITA, and joins four Brevard female tennis players in receiving this honor.
In order for a student-athlete to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a player must meet the following criteria: 1.) be a varsity letter winner, 2.) have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year, and 3) must have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters (including freshman thorough senior year).
