BC Tennis to Host 2nd Annual Mtn. Invitational
Brevard, N.C. – The Brevard College men’s and women’s tennis teams will open up their 2007 fall season this weekend when they will host the Second Annual Mountain Invitational at the tennis courts on Brevard College’s campus.
The participating teams include teams from the NAIA, and both the NCAA Division I and Division II levels.
The tournament will begin on Friday, September 7, at 3:30 p.m. Play will continue on both Saturday and Sunday with opening matches starting at 8 a.m.

Brevard College Tennis Announces 2007 Nike Camp Dates
Head coach Paul Thomson has announced that Brevard College will once again be hosting Nike Tennis camps this summer. The dates will be June 10th through 15th and June 17th through the 22nd. “We have built a solid relationship with Jeff Wilson who is the co-director of the camps and with Nike. We are looking forward to growing a great summer camp program here at Brevard College. We had 80 campers for two weeks last year and are looking for larger numbers this year.” The camps will include drills, match play, and conditioning and agility work. Boys and Girls ages 9 to 18 are open to attend. There will be excellent staff for instruction as well. Several college players as well as current and former college coaches will be instructing over the two weeks.
