Greensboro, N.C. – The Brevard College women’s cross country team competed in the Greensboro Invitational on Sunday, September 30, finishing in seventh-place in the Division II ranks.

 

Junior Alycia Andrade led the Tornados in the 5K run, as she finished with a time of 21:14.5. 

 

Sophomore Hannah Beck was the next BC runner to cross, as she crossed the finish line with a time of 25:15.1. Fellow classmate Meghan Grimes was not far behind, turning in a time of 26:23.3.

 

Rounding out the scoring for the Tornados was junior Kristen Zerressen and senior Lindsay Sherrill, as the two finished with times of 30:09.4 and 31:21.0, respectively.

 

The women’s cross country team will next compete on Friday, October 12, when they will participate in the Appalachian State Invitational meet.
