Tornados Compete At Banner Elk Banner Elk, N.C. - The Brevard College Tornados Cycling team got to travel to Banner Elk, NC to preview the course where the 2008 National Championships will be held in late October. The course this weekend was extremely dusty and fast, and made for a challenging day of racing. In spite of several mechanicals in Saturday’s short track, including a broken chain and frame, the team was able to come back and race strong for Sunday’s cross country.
