Brevard, N.C. – The Brevard College women’s soccer team had their match with Palm Beach Atlantic University on Friday afternoon cancelled due to inclement weather. 

 

Both teams battled the driving rain and the wet field conditions for the first half with neither team able to score a goal.

 

With the score locked up at 0-0 during the intermission, the rain continued to pick up as both the teams returned to the field.

 

After playing for approximately three minutes in the second half, the game was called due to lightning and stormy weather.

 

Coach Stojetz and her women’s soccer team will return to action on Tuesday, September 4, when they will host Warren Wilson College on Brevard’s campus. The match is slated to begin at 4:30 p.m.
