Brevard, N.C. – The Brevard College women’s soccer team will kick off their 2007 season with a pre-season scrimmage this Friday afternoon, August 17, when they will host to SMSC at 4 p.m. on the Brevard College campus.

 

The Lady Tornados will look to get off to a great start as they will face a challenging regular season schedule in 2007. The Tornados will play a full South Atlantic Conference schedule which includes matches on the road at Catawba, Newberry, Lenoir-Rhyne and Wingate.

 

Head coach Liz Stojetz is excited about this year’s team and feels that it has the chance to be one of the best overall teams she has coached in her previous three years at Brevard College.

 

The women’s soccer team will begin their regular season play on Saturday, August 25, with a home match against Lees-McRae. That match is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
