Brevard, N.C. – The Brevard College women’s softball team will have to wait a little longer to host their 2008 home opener, as the double-header scheduled for 2 p.m. today versus Virginia Intermont has been postponed due to poor field conditions.

 

Due to the heavy rains that hit Brevard over the last few days, the softball field is not in shape to host two softball games.

 

The double-header has not been re-scheduled at this time.

 

The Tornados next scheduled contest will be on Saturday, February 9, when they will travel to Gaffney, S.C. to take on the Lady Saints of Limestone College. The first-pitch of the first game of the double-header is scheduled for 1 p.m.
