Montreat, N.C. – The Brevard College women’s softball team wrapped up their 2008 season in style on Tuesday afternoon, as the Tornados swept the Lady Cavaliers of Montreat College. The Tornados stormed through the Lady Cavaliers in game one, winning 12-2. In game two BC held on for a 4-3 road win over Montreat.  Read more...

Tigerville, S.C. – The Brevard College women’s softball team was on the road on Wednesday afternoon, as the Tornados split a pair of one-run games against the Lady Crusaders of North Greenville in Tigerville, S.C. Brevard dropped the first game 4-3, but bounced back to win the second game 2-1.  Read more...
 
Milligan, T.N. – The Brevard College women’s softball team snapped their current losing streak on Monday afternoon, as the Tornados split the double-header with Milligan College. The Tornados won game one 2-0 before falling in the final inning of game two 7-6.  Read more...
 
Brevard, N.C. – The Brevard College women’s softball team fell to another SAC foe on Saturday afternoon, dropping both games of the double-header to the Tusculum Lady Pioneers. Despite outhitting the Lady Pioneers in game one, the Tornados fell to Tusculum 7-6. In game two, Tusculum defeated BC 6-2 to complete the sweep.  Read more...
 
Brevard, N.C. – The Brevard College women’s softball team suffered two heartbreaking losses on Thursday afternoon, as the Tornados dropped both games of the double-header with North Greenville by one run. North Greenville won game one by the score of 2-1 and snuck out with a 3-2 win over BC in game two.  Read more...
 
Jefferson City, T.N. – The Brevard College women’s softball team struggled on offensively on Tuesday afternoon, as the Tornados dropped both games of the double-header to the Lady Eagles of Carson-Newman. The 11th ranked Lady Eagles blanked the Tornados in both contests, winning game one 9-0 and taking game two 8-0.  Read more...

Brevard, N.C. – The Brevard College women’s softball team hosted the SAC foe Wingate University on Wednesday afternoon, falling in both games of the twin bill in what proved to be close games throughout. The Lady Bulldogs of Wingate improve to 26-12 on the season with the sweep, while the Tornados fall to 8-18 overall.  Read more...
 
Hickory, N.C. – The Brevard College women’s softball team played on the road for the second consecutive day on Sunday afternoon, as the Tornados dropped both games of a double-header to the Lady Bears’ of Lenoir-Rhyne in Hickory, N.C. Lenoir-Rhyne won the first game 8-0 and used a late homerun in the second game to edge the Tornados for the 4-3 win.  Read more...
 
Mars Hill, N.C. – The Brevard College women’s softball team was on the road at Mars Hill, N.C. on Saturday afternoon, as the Tornados fell in both games of the double-header versus the Lions at Ponder Park. The Lions won the first game 10-4 and then won the second game, 14-2. Mars Hill improved to 32-9 overall while with the two losses the Tornados fall to 8-14 on the season.  Read more...
