Brevard, N.C. – On Monday night, May 5, Brevard College announced its 2007-08 athletic award winners for its student-athletes. The awards were presented at the annual athletic ceremony held at the Porter Center last night. Heading the list of award winners were Holly Krogman and Shane Galloway, who were awarded the Female and Male Athlete of the Year Awards, and Jessica Guadagno and men’s soccer coach Juan Mascaro, who were given the Eagle Wings Leadership Awards.  Read more...
 
Brevard College Names Kim Pate Athletic Director
 
Brevard, N.C. - Brevard College is proud to announce its new Athletic Director: Mrs. Kim Pate.  Pate has served as Brevard College’s Director of Compliance and Senior Women’s administrator since the college began its transition from the NAIA to the NCAA. Brevard, N.C. - The NCAA Division II Membership Committee, meeting in Portland, Oregon June 26-28, accepted the Year One Report and Self-Study submitted by Brevard College and moved BC into the final phase of provisional membership. Brevard was one of twelve institutions advanced under the new Division II membership process. This move opens the door for Brevard College to apply for active membership in Division II and also the South Atlantic Conference for 2008-09.  Read More ...
