At Brevard College, we strive to create a friendly atmosphere for students, staff, and faculty in our diverse community by participating in Intramurals. Intramurals is a great way to enrich quality of life for students by promoting healthy living and social interactions. Through these interactions, students will be able to improve their teamwork and leadership skills in a way that will help them succeed in the future.
STEP 1: FORM A TEAM AND SELECT A TEAM CAPTAIN
Intramural Sport teams are typically comprised of classmates, roommates, friends, etc. Brevard College students, faculty and staff Members are eligible to participate. Teams must designate a captain for the duration of the sport.
STEP 2: REGISTER YOUR TEAM
The team captain should register the team to secure your spot in the league. Registration dates will be posted on the website and on the bulletin board outside the Recreation Room. Please be sure to read the directions carefully and fill out the form completely to ensure that your preferences are met.
STEP 3: ATTEND CAPTAIN'S MEETING
The team captain or representative must attend the Captain's Meeting at the beginning of each sport. The Captain's Meeting time and location will be announced closer to the start of the season.
Step 4: SCHEDULE AND RULES
Team schedules will be made available through email to the team captain and on the bulletin board outside the Recreation Room.
Step 5: PLAY
Intramural Sports begins in early September, enjoy the games, stay safe and good luck to everyone. All players must present a valid BC I.D. card in order to participate.
