PATRON INFORMATION
Any questions? We have probably answered them below. And if not, please contact our Box Office at 884-8330.

Refunds:  Please remember that all sales are final; there are no refunds.

Exchanges: will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Accessibility & Wheelchair Access: Handicapped parking is available in the first row of the parking lot. There are automatic push-to-open doors on the right side of the Porter Center entrances. Please request wheelchair or special seating when ordering your tickets, our staff will accommodate your seating needs to the best of our ability.

Children:  Out of respect to all patrons, we cannot admit children under 5 to paid performances, unless a performance is specifically noted for children.  Parents of any children are asked to please consider other patrons if your child is fidgeting, or making noise during a performance.  Everyone--regardless of age--entering the theater must have a ticket and sit quietly in a seat throughout the performance.

All events are subject to change: In the event of a change or a cancellation, we will make every effort to contact all ticket holders. We must reserve the right to make any changes whatsoever to any event owing to any unforeseen or unavoidable cause; or to cancel the event for any reason without notice.  We also reserve the right to choose to provide either a refund for the cancelled event or to produce a replacement event of similar quality and/or comparable value to a cancelled event.  These decisions will be at the sole discretion of Porter Center Management and are non-negotiable.  If a patron chooses not to attend the replacement event, Porter Center Management will discuss this with the patron on a case-by-case basis.

Weather Policy:  Inclement weather is not a cause for cancellation. As long as the artist appears at the theater the show will go on as scheduled. There are no refunds or exchanges due to weather, unless the event is cancelled.
If the status of a show changes, we will post an announcement on the home page of this website, on our Box Office answering system at 1-828-884-8330 and on local radio and television stations. Patrons are urged to look at our website as a first resort.  Plan to leave home early, and please travel carefully.
Recording Devices: Using recording devices of any kind including camera phones is strictly prohibited by law and will be strictly enforced.  Beginning January 1, 2009, persons caught using recording devices and/or camera phones will be escorted from the concert hall.

Telephones:  Using telephones is prohibited during performances in the Concert Hall and in Morrison Playhouse.  Patrons are urged to switch their phones OFF, or at the very least to VIBRATE, returning calls to others during intermission and after the performances as not to disturb other patrons.  Thank you in advance for this expected courtesy.

Food and Drink: Food and Drinks are not permitted in the Concert Hall for any reason.

Latecomers: Latecomers may watch the performance on our closed-circuit monitor in the Francis Pavilion until a suitable interval in the performance when the artist permits late seating. Our volunteer ushers will seat latecomers where there is the least likelihood of disturbing others. Unfortunately, some performances offer fewer breaks for late seating.

Lost & Found: If you lost a personal item while you were at the Porter Center, please call our Box Office at 1-828-884-8330. We're sorry, but Brevard College is not responsible for lost or stolen items, however they are sometimes turned in by other patrons or housekeeping.

Smoking: Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building.  There is a smoking section in the front of the Porter Center.
