Brevard College continues its long-time tradition of presenting the Asheville Symphony Orchestra in a setting other than their normal home, and they love coming back!  Year after year, WCQS records this concert for broadcast, thanks in part to our wonderful hall, and we welcome this honored tradition once again in 2010.  Led by conductor Daniel Meyer, the program “Red Hot and Blue” will include Handel’s “Overture to the Royal Fireworks,” Shostakovich’s “Symphony No. 10,” and Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue,” featuring the wonderful Juilliard Competition winning Di Wu on piano.
