Message from Reginald D. Heinitsh, Jr., Chairman of the Board of Trustees
Thank you for your interest in Brevard College’s presidential search. This promises to be a significant time in the life of the College as we seek Brevard’s 13th president.
As chairman of the Brevard College Board of Trustees, I can assure you that we are committed to keeping you informed throughout the search process.
The Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees has appointed a 13-member committee drawn from faculty, students, staff, alumni, trustees and community leaders to help select the College’s next president. I am very grateful to these individuals for volunteering their time and energy to help identify the best possible candidates for Brevard College.
The College has also engaged Academic Search, Inc. of Washington, D.C., to assist in the search. Academic Search is a leading national firm in assisting colleges and universities with presidential searches, particularly for private colleges.
On behalf of the search committee and the entire college community, I hope you find these pages informative and helpful as the search process progresses. These pages will be updated regularly with general information pertaining to the search process, while maintaining the need for confidentiality.
