Brevard College Merit Scholarship

Students admitted to Brevard College can qualify for a range of academic scholarships. These scholarships are determined based on high school/college GPA and/or standardized test scores. To apply for Brevard College Merit Scholarships, submit your application for admission.  

The Leadership Scholarship

Leadership Scholarships are awarded to incoming students who demonstrate outstanding dedication to outside organizations and strong leadership potentialIf eligible, students apply and interview for these scholarships on Leadership Scholarship Day on the Brevard College campus.

Music Audition Dates are Monday, January 20, 2014, Saturday, February 15, 2014, and Saturday, March 15, 2014.

*Students are advised to audition early in order to receive maximum consideration for financial aid and music scholarships.

Athletic Scholarships

All individual sports determine and award athletic-based scholarships according to athletic talent and the needs of the individual sport and athlete. Contact the Office of Athletics or the coach of each respective sport for more information about scholarship opportunities.

Golden LEAF Foundation Scholarships

The Golden LEAF Foundation awards scholarships to North Carolina students from tobacco-dependent, economically distressed, and rural communities. Click on the link below for the most up-to-date list of qualifying counties and eligibility requirements.

United Methodist Higher Education Foundation Scholarships

The United Methodist Higher Education Foundation (UMHEF) is a non-profit group that awards scholarships to qualified students attending United Methodist-affiliated institutions. This foundation awards over $2 million to over 1,000 students annually. Scholarship amounts vary.

State and Federal Aid

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (or FAFSA) is available to all incoming students. File your FAFSA to maximize your financial aid package and determine whether you qualify for state and federal grants. Our Financial Aid department is able to answer any questions you might have about the FAFSA process.

The 2014 FAFSA deadline is May 1. Please use the Data Retrieval Tool provided on the FAFSA website.
