Brevard College Merit Scholarships
Students admitted to Brevard College can qualify for a range of academic scholarships. These scholarships are determined based on high school/college GPA and/or standardized test scores. To apply for Brevard College Merit Scholarships, submit your application for admission.
Scholarship Day is for incoming students who would like to audition for Fine Arts or interview for Institute for Women in Leadership, or the honors program. If eligible, students apply and interview for these scholarships on Scholarship Days on the Brevard College campus.
Fine Arts Scholarships
Brevard College offers a limited amount of Fine Arts scholarships in Music, Art, and Theater. Scholarships are determined by individual department. Please contact your department for more specific scholarship requirements and information.

Golden LEAF Foundation Scholarships
The Golden LEAF Foundation awards scholarships to North Carolina students from tobacco-dependent, economically distressed, and rural communities. Click on the link below for the most up-to-date list of qualifying counties and eligibility requirements.
United Methodist Higher Education Foundation Scholarships
The United Methodist Higher Education Foundation (UMHEF) is a non-profit group that awards scholarships to qualified students attending United Methodist-affiliated institutions. This foundation awards over $2 million to over 1,000 students annually. Scholarship amounts vary.
State and Federal Aid
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (or FAFSA) is available to all incoming students. File your FAFSA to maximize your financial aid package and determine whether you qualify for state and federal grants. Our Financial Aid department is able to answer any questions you might have about the FAFSA process.
The 2017 FAFSA priority filing date is March 1. You may begin to file the 2017–2018 FAFSA on October 1, 2016. Please use the Data Retrieval Tool provided on the FAFSA website.
