Jesse Iaquinto and the Fireside Collective is a new 5-piece progressive folk group based out of Asheville, NC. Including mandolin, bass, guitar, dobro and 3-part harmonies, Jesse Iaquinto and the Fireside Collective honor traditions of the urban folk revival days with a new world approach. The band is aimed at being a balanced project that draws from influential musicians throughout history while fusing blues, funk, bluegrass/folk, rock and pop into an authentic blend of american music.
Jesse Iaquinto, the founder, songwriter, mandolin player and lead vocalist of the group has performed in a variety of bands in the North Carolina music scene and is excited to launch this project with the support of pre-existing fans that have grown with him over his decade in NC. Accompanied by longtime friends turned bandmates including Josh Bertram (former guitarist of Electrofunk Rock band Native Sway), bassist Carson White, dobro player Tommy Maher and vocalist Johanna Hagarty, The Fireside Collective strives to maintain the synergy that is felt at any passionate campfire jam.
Members from several regional touring bands (Jon Stickley Trio, Sanctum Sully, The Fritz) supported Jesse Iaquinto and The Fireside Collective in achieving an amazing debut record for the band to grow with. Breaking down the walls between the performers and the audience, Jesse Iaquinto and The Fireside Collective believes in creating genuine songs that evoke human engagement. Artistically transforming individual experiences of humans into shared traditions, Jesse Iaquinto and The Fireside Collective exposes the challenges of life as honestly as the triumphs. With collective performance at Belchere, The Durham and Raleigh World Beer Festivals and venues all over the East Coast, Jesse Iaquinto’s Fireside Collective is excited to bring people together with the music of our generation.
